Pet Education and Adoption Center (PEAC) |
|
A Better Place Rescue is building a Pet Education and Adoption Center to serve the general public and assist homeless animals in the community. The PEAC is an indoor/outdoor dog rescue and education facility. A Better Place Rescue will use the PAEC to temporarily house dogs awaiting foster homes, train dogs, provide a setting for the public to interact with the dogs, provide educational material, and host events for the community. The facility is now 90% complete. The PEAC will not only provide a positive environment for the dogs and pet parents, but it is also earth friendly. 82% of the building is constructed with recycled and green materials.
PEAC Wish List: A-1 Gravel, Sump pump, Solar lighting, Solar operating fans,Composting toilet, small power washer, Stainless Steel Trash Cans, Volunteers to put up fencing.
We need to raise $5000 to complete this project. Please consider Donating to help us complete construction on the Pet Education and Adoption Center.

A Special THANK YOU!!
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude toward our wonderful vet, Dr. Singh, from Angel Animal Hospital in Farmington Hills. Dr. Singh's compassion and dedication has meant the world to many of our volunteers and their foster dogs! Thank you Dr. Singh! YOU CAN HELP! Donate directly to our vet bills. We don't turn an adoptable animal away because it needs extra vet
care. Our adoption fee only covers basic vet care. Recently in
addition to basic care we have treated 5 heartworm positive dogs, a
broken leg, 3 females with pyometra, and miscellaneous infections,
wounds and injuries that drive our costs way above our adoption fees.
See these dogs as available for adoption and adopted/happy
tails: Nick, Ebby, Shelby, Luna, Lucky Louie, Hailey Our adoption fee remains the same for our dogs no matter what the vet care costs.
Send your donation to Dr. Singh. Be sure to mention the donation is for the animals from "A Better Place" all breed dog rescue.
