Adoption Process

0. Visit our dogs webpages to meet the dogs available for adoption.

1. Fill out our online adoption application.

2. Allow 2-3 days for one of our volunteers to get back with you via phone or email.

3. A volunteer will interview you over the phone or email you. If the volunteer feels you may be a good match for the dog, they will arrange a time / place for you to meet the dog.

4. Meet the foster dog at a pre-determined time / place. This is called a "meet-n-greet", we prefer all family members be there, if at all possible.

5. If the meet-n-greet goes well, we will arrange to do a home visit at a later date / time that is convenient for everyone.

6. Sometimes, we will arrange to do the final adoption paperwork at the same time as your home visit. This decision is up to the individual foster parents. We do not like to rush adoptions, so we will usually ask for a few days, to give everyone time to make their final decision.

We reserve the right to deny any application at any time and for any reason, if we feel the best interest of the dog will not be served.
