 Our work is not possible without the support of people like you!

A Better Place is a 100% volunteer run organization.  Therefore, A Better Place pays no administrative expenses.  All donations fund the pet education, pet rescue and pet care efforts.

A Better Place is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization!

All donations are tax deductible where the law allows.

4 out of 5 ABP rescues need additional vet care when they come to us, costs skyrocket way above our standard adoption fee of $250 · ABP receives no government funding and is run by a small number of extremely dedicated volunteers

Your donation will be used to provide support for A Better Place and the many pets in our care.  Every amount donated helps!

 Accomplishments 

Where does the money go?

 A Better Place distributes general donations as follows:

  • 50% to Vet Care
  • 35% to Educational Programs
  • 10% for food & preventative Vet Care
  • 5% to Maintain Facilities 

Although,you can choose where you would like us to spend your donation. 

For instance, you can sponsor a specific dog.

Donate to our Building Fund.  We need to raise $5000 to complete construction of our Pet Education & Adoption Center.

Donate Directly to our vet bills by mailing a check to Dr. Singh at Angel Animal Hospital. Be sure to mention the donation is for the animals at A Better Place, New Boston, Michigan.

Some of our other accomplishments include:

* Saving death row dogs from kill-shelters, Rescuing from those who sell dogs for research or use inhumane euthanasia

* Helping rehome 1000's of animals per year through direct placement, shelter transfer, and rescue networking.

* Educating the public through FREE Educational material distributed at  events & downloadable online. Topics including: dog safety for kids and parents, spay and neuter, how dogfighting poisons the community, dog behavior issues, Pit Bull education, insurance rights for Michigan dog owners, breed specific legislation, and the relationship between animal cruelty/neglect and criminal activity.

* A Better Place has been involved in the legislation of Michigan's anti-cruelty and the animal rescue spay & neuter laws.

* A Better Place has a 99% success rate at matching pets with adoptive parents.
